IGE ONLINE INSTITUTE
GOALS
EDUCATION

-
Collecting, developing, and disseminating an intelligent understanding of the needs of humanity.
-
Promoting the determination to bring about the conditions that meet those needs and the recognition that it is possible by collective action.
-
Making available the principles and practices required to meet the needs of humanity at the local, world and national levels.
-
Supporting and empowering change agents as they apply the principles and practices.

INSPIRATION & RESTORATION
Inspiration and restoration of confidence by:
-
Making it known that many each person has a role to play in creating a better world.
-
Creating a database of students and influencers from around the world.
-
Connecting people of good will to the growing information, groups, networks and communities of practice, all over the world.
-
Supporting and contributing to the United Nations through its Assembly and Committee activities to promote Sustainable Development Goals.

In support of its current initiatives, IGE has numerous assets:
-
IGE’s large network of individuals with educational, social innovation and other backgrounds that IGE can draw upon as curriculum designers, teachers, mentors and advisors.
-
IGE’s experience in designing and carrying out socially innovative projects. Some examples are our initiatives in India, the United Nations, the four indigenous conferences and Radio for Peace International. See past initiatives, below.
-
IGE’s Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, which provides direct access to the work of the United Nations, its member organizations and funding sources. http://www.un.org/en/ecosoc/about/
-
IGE’s status as a charitable organization under Section 503 (c) (3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code that makes IGE “eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions.”
-
IGE’s numerous connections with the United Nations, indigenous groups and a host of others around the world that can be drawn upon to develop collaborative projects and provide field experience for students.
Given the vast array of educational programs that already exist, IGE intends to partner with other organizations to make useful contributions to the Vision and Goals above. IGE will also be designing and delivering its own programs to complement these initiatives.
